AROS – Small Stones 19

He thought about what he should dream for.  Recently he had put dreams to one side.  Some had been fulfilled, travel and the like whilst some had fallen; discarded like old toys as life had dealt his hand.  He could not think of a dream that night.

Sleep came slowly but when it did, he dreamt of the seaside, his Mum, young and alive, watching over himself as a small boy building sandcastles with his father in a never ending summer.
